What is Paint-It-Forward?
Paint-It-Forward is a charity program that was founded ten years ago by Joshua Ambrason in Los Angeles California. It helps families and nonprofits in need of a paint job that for some unfortunate reason cannot afford it. Since completing the first painting job ten years ago many painting contractors across the US and Canada have taken Paint-It-Forward to their communities and have reached a goal of over $1,000,000 worth of free painting services and materials. Sunwest Painting has joined the movement; we know that there are hundreds of families and non-profits in desperate need of a paint job and we want to help! We are giving away a $3,500 paint job to a deserving family or nonprofit org in our community. We are excited to transform, beautify, and give back to our community by giving away this paint job.
How Paint-It-Forward Works
We are reaching out to our local community and asking to submit stories of a nonprofit or people they know who need painting but can’t afford it. Once the stories have been submitted our team will vote for the top candidates and announce the winner soon after. Once we have picked out a winner, we will meet with them and set a date to start the project.

Paint-It-Forward is more than getting a painting project done, its a program dedicated to meet a tangible need and lifting some of the burden from the recipients shoulder. Paint-It-Forward is a true reminder that there are people who care for their community and love to help.
