This elegant, custom home enjoys views of the South Bay. It was built approximately 10 years ago. Willard and Patricia stated that when they originally built the home, they weren’t completely satisfied with the color selection.
Now that they had their home repainted, they were both involved with the process of selecting colors from picking their favorite options, reviewing the renderings provided, and seeing the color samples put up. They took a thoughtful approach to select colors.
One of the notable recommendations were not only the colors but the gloss levels. Their front door was a custom door and opted for choosing a paint instead of staining the door for longevity. We recommended a low sheen option for the front door and garage to preserve the elegant aesthetic. Sheen selections can make a huge difference, particularly with custom-built homes.

What does the design process look like?
- We start with an initial discovery meeting to go over what is the desired outcome for the project and vision for the design.
- Our color consultant will provide curated selections according to your vision or can comb through the colors together to compare.
- We will take photos of the home and provide renderings to see your vision come to life.
- Once we narrow down the selection, we will put up samples.
During the process, we will talk about any other project accommodations and make the best product recommendations tailored to each project. We confirm all color and sheen selections.
