Scaling Quality for San Jose's Industrial Sector

A full-scale exterior refresh for a 25,000 sq ft high-traffic Monterey Road warehouse facility.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Challenge:

America West Properties required a comprehensive exterior repaint of their large-scale industrial warehouse facility located on the busy Monterey Road corridor in San Jose. The property spans approximately 25,000 square feet across a multi-building business park – one of several Northern California properties Sunwest manages for this Southern California-based portfolio owner.

The facility faced two primary challenges: significant UV degradation from constant South Bay sun exposure and the need for a durable finish that could withstand the heavy exhaust and debris common in high-traffic industrial zones.

The Solution:

Sunwest Painting developed a high-performance coating strategy focused on longevity and protection. Our team performed extensive surface preparation, including industrial-strength pressure washing and masonry repair, to ensure a perfect bond. We utilized premium, UV-resistant industrial coatings designed to maintain color integrity and structural protection for years to come.

THE SUNWEST DIFFERENCE

Why America West Trusts Denise and the Team:

In the industrial sector, reliability is the only currency that matters. America West Properties has partnered with Sunwest Painting across multiple projects because they know we operate with full confidence – so much so that they regularly skip final walkthroughs and rely entirely on our photo documentation instead.

America West values efficiency, reliability, communication, and results. They don’t typically travel for inspections. They trust us to send the photos, deliver the finish, and move on to the next property. That trust is earned – not assumed.

For this Monterey Road project, we coordinated closely with facility managers to ensure our crews and equipment never blocked loading docks or interfered with the heavy flow of transport vehicles. We delivered a clean, professional finish that upgraded the property’s curb appeal and long-term asset value.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sunwest Painting did an excellent job on our project. Denise was fantastic to work with — she stayed involved throughout the process, checked in regularly on the quality of work, and was always quick to respond to questions or requests.

She also helped us narrow down paint colors, which made the decision process much easier. After part of a baseboard needed repair, she coordinated repainting it so the finish looked seamless.

The crew was professional, detail-oriented, and respectful of our home. Overall, the experience felt smooth and well-managed from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sunwest Painting painted the exterior of my house 4 years ago - and it still looks great now! Recently, we had a smaller paint project for them at a rental property and Alonzo - the owner - came out and exceeded our expectations! Their quotes are reasonable and they are insured and licensed- giving me peace of mind when they work on my house!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sunwest Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house in South San Jose.

The initial consultation with Denise was excellent steering us into color choices that we were extremely happy with.

The painters were courteous, professional and took a lot of pride in the quality of the work they did. They were meticulous in checking for damaged wood and repairing, caulking around windows and doors and covering surfaces to prevent accidental paint application.

They also were very punctual and cleaned up the area around the house very well.

Last but not least, the painters displayed a great respect for plants in our native garden close to the front of the house and carefully worked around them while doing an exemplary job painting the house.

I would highly recommend Sunwest Painting for your exterior painting needs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sunwest Painting and Alonso were great. They did an amazing job at staining and refinishing our decks; painting the exterior of the house, replacing a dry rotted fascia board as well as staining our fence! They were not only timely but also competitive on cost.

Highly recommended!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have used Sunwest Painting to have my entire house painted. Working with Alonzo and his crew is always a pleasure. They are very professional, responsive, and provide excellent results. They did an amazing job at our house. Their attention to detail is extraordinary.
I have recommended Sunwest Painting to my clients and friends, and they never disappoint me. I just have a client who called them up to have the interior of their house painted and time was of the essence. Right away Denise followed up with an email to get them a quote and from then Alonzo followed up. The job required substantial surface preparation and fine detailing.
The finishes are spot on and high quality. My clients love the job they did.
There are no words to describe the excellent quality of work and service they provide.
Without any hesitation, I will keep recommending him to my family, friends, and clients.
