The KonMari Method
Studies show that the average American resides in their home for an average of 7 years before moving.
Seven years is a lengthy time, it is a relationship with your home. As it would seem, the Netflix Original Series “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” might be a solution to what people need right now. Creating spaces that spark joy are essential in today’s day and age.
Since you have a long term relationship with your living space, you owe it to yourself to create a space that brings you joy and you can call home.
“Now imagine yourself living in a space that contains only things that spark joy. Isn’t this the lifestyle you dream of?”
― Marie Kondo
The KonMari Method™ encourages tidying by category – not by location – beginning with clothes, then moving on to books, papers, komono (miscellaneous items), and, finally, sentimental items. Keep only those things that speak to the heart, and discard items that no longer spark joy. Thank them for their service – then let them go.

What works about this method is that you can rid yourself of unwanted clutter, letting go of the person you once were and make way for who you are today.
The KonMari method is also great for minimizing excess with a heart of gratitude.
“Once you have experienced what it’s like to have a truly ordered house, you’ll feel your whole world brighten.”
